Does anyone know this Hammer skin? - Guild Wars Forums

I have a Foehammer, in pve it's skin switches, every ~1min, back and forward to another skin. A hammer with skull on the front and a slightly smaller skull on the backside, as you also can see in the screenshot below

I have searched on gw wiki but couldn't find a hammerskin like it.
I never did mod things, my gw is just plain vanilla. So I'm kinda puzzled why Foehammer keeps switching to this look.

Does anyone have an explanation?

This happens when a weapon spell from a Rit is cast onto you. In this case it looks like you have Splinter Weapon cast on you.

Perfect logical explaination, I didn't know that weapon spells had this effect though.

Yeah, it's a minor annoyance of weapons spells. You go out a get yourself that fancy skin you've always wanted and some weapon spell turns it into an ugly-stick.
